About George Sparks

Independent guidance. Trusted relationships. A personal approach to UK education.

Keyhole International was founded by George Sparks to support families navigating UK education with clarity, care, and confidence.

George works closely with families and students to help them access educational experiences in the UK that genuinely suit who they are — academically, socially, and personally. His approach is personal, independent, and built on long-term relationships with both families and schools.ould be delighted to speak with you.

A background in education, leadership, and sport

George’s career spans sport, education, and leadership. Before founding Keyhole International, he worked as a professional rugby player, a Physical Education teacher, and a Director of Sport, supporting young people in both academic and pastoral settings.

This experience has shaped how George works with students today — with a strong focus on wellbeing, character development, and finding environments where young people can thrive, not just perform academically.

George’s work is informed by first-hand experience of schools, students, and families, as well as extensive time spent visiting UK schools, building relationships with school leaders, and understanding the realities of different educational environments.

Why I founded Keyhole International

Keyhole International was created in response to a growing need for independent, relationship-led guidance in an increasingly complex education landscape.

George saw many families overwhelmed by choice, conflicting information, and programme-led advice that prioritised availability over suitability. He wanted to offer something different: a service focused on listening first, understanding the student fully, and guiding families towards decisions that make sense in the long term.

Keyhole International is intentionally small and personal. This allows George to work closely with each family, offering considered advice rather than volume-driven recommendations.

A personal, independent approach

George does not represent schools or sell fixed programmes. His role is to act as an independent guide — working solely in the best interests of the family and student.

The process begins with understanding the child: their personality, needs, ambitions, and stage of development. From there, George helps families explore appropriate pathways, ask the right questions, and make informed decisions with confidence.

Support often continues well beyond the initial placement, ensuring families feel guided, reassured, and supported throughout the journey.

Trusted by schools, focused on families

George works closely with a wide range of UK schools, including members of the British Boarding Schools’ Network (BBSN), as well as other highly regarded independent schools across the UK.

These relationships are built on trust, transparency, and shared values. Schools value George’s honest approach and his commitment to finding the right fit for each student, rather than promoting particular institutions.

While George works collaboratively with schools, his responsibility is always to the family. This balance is central to how Keyhole International operates.

What matters most

At the heart of George’s work is a belief that education should be transformational, not transactional.

Every student is different. Every family’s situation is unique. Good guidance requires time, perspective, and an understanding of both people and places.

George’s role is to help families slow the process down, cut through the noise, and make decisions that feel right — not rushed.

A final word

For George, supporting families through important educational decisions is a privilege. These choices shape not just academic outcomes, but confidence, independence, and a young person’s sense of self.

Keyhole International exists to make that journey clearer, calmer, and more considered — for families, students, and schools alike.
